New to Asheville and haven't explored the local wine scene yet? Same. Let's fix that — over a glass at Marked Tree Vineyard.
We're spending a relaxed Saturday afternoon at Marked Tree Vineyard, one of the prettiest spots in the area — sweeping mountain views, a great pour list, and plenty of room to spread out and chat. It's about a 30-minute scenic drive from Asheville, in Flat Rock, NC.
This is low-key, no pressure — just a group of transplants who'd rather share a glass of wine with new friends than scroll Netflix alone on a Saturday. Whether you're a wine snob or a "I'll have whatever's good" person, you belong here.
The Plan:
• 1:00 PM — Meet at Marked Tree Vineyard
• 1:00–4:00 PM — Tastings, lounging, and conversation on the patio
What to Know:
• Tasting fees are on your own (typically around $10–20)
• Driving required — Marked Tree is about 30 min from downtown Asheville
• Dog-friendly on the patio (worth a quick call ahead if you're bringing one)
• Light bites are usually available on-site, or grab a late lunch on the way back
Space is limited to 20 so we can actually get to know each other. Grab your spot!
