Saturday Morning at the Arboretum — Spring Walk + Coffee

Start your Saturday the Asheville way — with a beautiful walk through the NC Arboretum and coffee after.
Spring is in full swing and the gardens are gorgeous right now. We'll take a relaxed walk through the Arboretum's trails, enjoy the views, and then grab coffee together at The Arbor Eatery on-site.
The Plan:
• 9:30 AM — Meet at the NC Arboretum main entrance/visitor center
• Walk the garden trails at a conversational pace (not a hike — wear whatever shoes you want)
• ~11:00 AM — Grab coffee and hang out
• Wrap up around noon
What to Know:
• Parking is $25/car at the Arboretum — consider carpooling! (Free for Arboretum members)
• Many of the trails are paved or boardwalk — strollers and dogs on leash are welcome
• Bring a water bottle and sunscreen
• This is a walk, not a workout — the pace will be relaxed and social
Why This Event:
Sometimes the best way to meet people is side by side, not face to face. Walking together makes conversation easy and natural — no awkward small talk, just good company in a beautiful setting. This is an Asheville Transplants event — open to anyone newer to the area looking to build genuine friendships. Come solo or bring a friend. All are welcome.
