Kick off your weekend with a Friday night brewery crawl through Asheville's South Slope!

South Slope is home to some of the best breweries in the Southeast, and on Friday nights the whole neighborhood comes alive with good energy. We'll hit a few spots together, grab some great beer, and enjoy the vibe.

The Plan:

• 6:00 PM — Meet at Burial Beer Co. (40 Collier Ave) for our first round

• Stroll to 2-3 more South Slope breweries as a group (Catawba, Hi-Wire, Wicked Weed Funkatorium — we'll go with the flow)

• Catch some live music if we find it along the way

• Wrap up around 9:30 PM (or later if the night takes us somewhere fun)

What to Know:

• Each person buys their own drinks — most pours are $7-10

• Wear comfortable walking shoes — we'll be on our feet

• The breweries are all within a few blocks of each other on South Slope

• Non-drinkers welcome! Most spots have great non-alcoholic options and the atmosphere is the real draw

• Metered street parking is available in the area — check signs for rates and hours

Why This Event:

South Slope on a Friday night is Asheville at its best — creative, social, and unpretentious. This is a perfect way to experience the local brewery scene with people who are also still figuring out their favorite spots. Come solo, come with a friend — either way, you'll leave with more of both.
