Sunset + Gardens at the Arboretum
Details
Spend a Tuesday evening exploring the NC Arboretum gardens, followed by a gorgeous mountain sunset.
The NC Arboretum's gardens are stunning in the spring, and there's no better way to wind down a Tuesday than watching the sunset over the Blue Ridge with good company. We'll explore the gardens, find a great sunset spot, and hang out as the sky lights up.
The Plan:
• 4:30 PM — Meet at the NC Arboretum visitor center
• Explore the gardens and trails at a relaxed pace
• ~6:15 PM — Find a good sunset viewing spot and settle in
• 6:30-7:00 PM — Watch the sunset together and hang out
What to Know:
• Bring a blanket or towel to sit on for the sunset
• Wear comfortable, layered clothing — it can cool down in the evening
• Parking is $25/car — consider carpooling! (Free for Arboretum members)
• Water bottle and a light jacket recommended
• Bonus: The Arboretum hosts amazing sound bath events in the gardens — check their website for upcoming sessions if that's your thing!
