Spring mornings in downtown Asheville are made for exploring — fresh produce, local art, live music, and a long brunch with new friends.

Join us for a Saturday morning at the Asheville City Market followed by a walk to one of downtown's best brunch spots. This is a laid-back, go-at-your-own-pace kind of morning — perfect for meeting fellow transplants over good food and good vibes.

The Plan:

• 9:30 AM — Meet at the Asheville City Market on N. Market Street (look for us near the entrance)

• 9:30–11:00 AM — Browse the market together: local produce, baked goods, crafts, and live music

• 11:00 AM — Walk to brunch (we'll pick a spot nearby — likely Early Girl Eatery or Tupelo Honey)

• 11:00 AM–12:30 PM — Brunch and conversation

What to Know:

• The market is outdoors and free to walk through — bring cash if you want to buy from vendors

• Brunch is pay-your-own; no reservation needed for our group size

• Street parking is available on N. Market St and surrounding blocks, or use the Wall St parking garage

• Dress for the weather — layers are a good idea for spring mornings in the mountains

Why This Event:

Asheville's Saturday market is one of the best ways to experience the local food and arts scene. Pairing it with brunch gives us plenty of time to actually connect — whether you just moved here or have been around for a while. Solo attendees are especially welcome. Come say hi!
