Book Nerd Trivia Fundraiser at Ginger's Revenge

Our friend Julian is emceeing Book Nerd Trivia — a literary trivia night benefiting Asheville Prison Books, the all-volunteer collective that's been mailing free books to incarcerated folks across the Carolinas since 1999. We're rolling up as the Asheville Transplants team. Come throw down some bookish answers, win raffle prizes, and put a few bucks toward a really good cause.
The Plan:
• 6:15 PM — Arrive, grab a seat at our table, order a ginger beer or cocktail
• 6:30 PM — Trivia kicks off with Julian on the mic
• Throughout — Raffle and prizes between rounds
• ~8:30 PM — Wrap up, hang out, head home (or keep the night going)
What to Know:
• Where: Ginger's Revenge Tasting Room, 829 Riverside Dr #100, Asheville
• Format: Literary / book-nerd themed trivia. Don't worry if you haven't read every classic — it's casual, not cutthroat
• Cost: Free to play; bring cash or card for drinks and raffle tickets (proceeds go to Asheville Prison Books)
• Solo or in a group: Both totally welcome — show up alone and we'll team you up
• Look for: Whoever has the Asheville Transplants vibe at a table near the front. I'll wave you over
Why This One:
This is the rare night where you can drink something delicious, flex your random book knowledge, meet new people, and quietly do some good — all in the same two hours. Asheville Prison Books spends every dollar on postage to send books people actually requested. Showing up is the whole assignment.
