Enjoy Casual Spring Walk Around Lake Junaluska

On Saturday, after brunch with friend who lives here, walked entire loop around Lake Junaluska, totaling 4 miles, stopped for lemon sorbet, & rested while viewing beautiful spring flowers & trees, plus mountain views. Even did a labyrinth. I'm returning to walk here another Saturday, before it gets too hot, as lots of trees, but never much shade on its lake trails.

I've always enjoyed walking solo, & often go off on a drive for lake walks, or a bit further... overnight SC ocean walks. But do welcome anyone who wants to join me on this springtime walk, weather permitting, It's an easy 30 minute drive from Asheville, lots of free parking, plus a coffee & gift shop to visit after walk, which also has ice cream & sorbet.

We'll meet in front of Junaluska Gifts & Grounds, so park as close to there as possible. Restroom inside. Lots of lakeside benches with beautiful views. Walk of entire loop can be shortened if too much for you, & easy to find way back to refreshment or parking.
