Hike Bearwallow Mountain Trail to Summit

This will be attempt #3 after 2 rainouts in spring, to hike Bearwallow Trail to summit with awesome views. It's got elevation, which I usually avoid, but have done this trail several times without a problem, as it's only approx. 1 mile up & 1 mile down.

We'll park along Bearwallow Mountain Road & meet at the Bearwallow Trail sign at 10am. There are different ways to get here, so please research on your own, or make plans to carpool with other members, if desired.

Guests welcome, but NO dogs. Bring water, snack or bag lunch, hiking shoes & poles, & sun protection. We'll rest at summit, & take in views, snack & socialize. Warning: watch out for cow droppings in summit pasture!
