For years, I’ve hosted dinners and invited a small group of interesting people. No more than eight. Most often, the people who come to these dinners don’t know each other. The starting point of conversation, and sometimes the entire evening, centers around the question:
- "What has captured your imagination lately?"
Over the years, there have been some wonderful evenings. Since I only recently moved to Asheville and don't know many people here, I thought I'd experiment with a Meetup Potluck.
If your plans change and you make a reservation but can't join us, let me know. I'll also invite others I know or meet in my travels -- artists, novelists, poets, political activists, wilderness adventurers, spiritual searchers and seekers, AI pioneers, women who howl at the moon, lost sailors and wayward mountaineers -- anyone doing something interesting (to them) with this precious gift called life.
