Tara Nyanga, Owner of Sugarcane Studios
An Asheville native, Tara owns Sugarcane Studios, a custom sewing studio specializing in bridal and formalwear, and providing luxury alterations to the local community. Tara’s professional career started with creating costumes on Broadway, continued to The Metropolitan Opera, and then culminated in the film and television industry. She was the lead tailor on the first 2 seasons of Gossip Girl, continued with multiple movies including the Emmy-award-winning HBO series, John Adams, and ended with local movies like Masterminds and Magic Mike XXL.

With a background making period costumes, dancewear, as well as extensive menswear fitting and alterations, Tara is a fit expert. She has 25 years of experience filling the demands of top-level designers, celebrities, and most recently, BRIDES. She has fit, altered, and made all types of clothes, with all sorts of personalities, and on all body types. She firmly believes that a well-fitted garment can make you look and feel AMAZING in your clothes.

Marisol Colette, Personal Stylist and Psychotherapist
Marisol Colette is a Personal Stylist and Psychotherapist who works with clients nationally and internationally to define and refine their image creating life-changing results. By looking and feeling good, clients gain the courage to shine their inner beauty on the outside, showing up in the world in new and notable ways. Marisol engages clients from the heart, bringing a level of consciousness not incorporated in traditional styling.
