Please join us for “Harvesting Abundance" A Women’s Ecstatic Dance Temple on Thursday, September 18th. A sacred space to gather, cultivate, align, savor and overflow in our innate abundance. With LIVE Music by local DJ Magdalyn, Temple adornments with Medicine Woman Monna Story, Movement and Sound Healing with Rachel Kelley. We are dancing in the gorgeous Temple of the Awakening Heart- a temple built in honor of the Divine Mother. At Compassionate Expressions Mountain Inn & Healing Sanctuary in Leicester, NC.
The evening flow-
~ 6:30 Doors open. Connect with sisters, enjoy sweet replenishments, receive a clearing outside and settle into the space.
~ 6:45 The container begins with Opening Circle, guidelines & intentions. *Doors close promptly at 6:45pm to honor the container, so plan to arrive by 6:30pm to settle into the space.
~ Guided Tao-Tantra Movement Warmup with Rachel, to cultivate an overflow of vitality.
~ Ecstatic Dance music wave with DJ Magdalyn
~ Sound Healing Bath for Integration, with Rachel
~ 9pm Closing Circle
~9:15pm Optional Community Gift Shares
Light refreshments and drinking well water are provided. There will be cush' and mats to soften into. An alter to place your intentions. And adornments of flowering beauty, to enjoy and bless.
Pre-registration $25, Day of or at the door $30 via Venmo @shemovesme. This event is intentionally for women, to offer a space of deep embodied connection and empower them in their truest expression in the world. All levels of dance experience are warmly welcome. Please give yourself an hour to drive from downtown Asheville to the temple in Leicester. Look up the directions before you drive, as gps service can be spotty out in the mountains. Magdalyn ~ DJ, Music & Sacred Space Curator
Magdalyn made her debut as a DJ in Asheville in the summer of 2024, coinciding with the rise of Venus, just before the tempest of Helene. For over a decade, she has been curating festivals, special events, and ecstatic dance waves in Floyd, VA. A multi-instrumentalist, contact improv dancer, and harmonizing vocalist, Magdalyn weaves lyrical invocations, Latin rhythms, and booty-shaking beats into her sets—guiding dancers through a transformational, connective, and expansive journey.
