Join Asheville’s Young Professionals (AYPROS) for Black Belt Principles for Life, a free Asheville Lunch & Learn led by Grand Master Tony Morris, 9th Degree Black Belt and founder of Asheville Sun Soo Martial Arts.
This approachable session brings together leadership development, personal safety, and the fundamentals of self-defense. You’ll discover how martial arts principles can help you remain aware, establish clear boundaries, communicate with confidence, and make better decisions in stressful situations.
We’ll explore:
• Practical ways to strengthen situational awareness
• How to recognize and respond to potential threats
• Using your voice, posture, and presence with confidence
• Establishing and communicating personal boundaries
• Fundamental principles of personal safety and self-defense
• Applying black belt principles to leadership, work, and everyday life
Whether you’re leading a team, navigating a difficult conversation, walking through a parking lot, or simply looking to feel more prepared in daily life, you’ll leave with practical insights you can use immediately.
No martial arts or self-defense experience is required. This event is designed to be useful, welcoming, and accessible for all experience levels.
