AYPROS X UNITED WAY: UNITED FOR YOUTH BLOCK PARTY
Details
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST REGISTER ON THE HANDS ON WEBSITE TO PARTICIPATE SEE BELOW
Pack Square Park will be filled with young people, families, music, activities, food, and community organizations on Friday, August 7, and AYPROS is showing up to help make it happen.
Join fellow young professionals as we volunteer with United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County for the 2026 United for Youth Community Engagement Block Party. This free, family-friendly celebration brings together community partners,
students, and families before the start of the school year.
The event supports United for Youth’s Bold Community Goal that every student in Buncombe County will graduate from high school ready to pursue their goals and dreams.
AYPROS will be serving together during the 6:00–8:00 PM volunteer shift.
During our shift, volunteers will help welcome guests, distribute food tickets and event information, maintain water stations, assist vendors, keep shared spaces clean, and step in wherever additional help is needed.
No previous volunteer experience is required. Come ready to help, spend time with fellow young professionals, and support an evening created for local students and their families.
