If Pub Club is your after-work hangout, Mug Club is the morning version. Coffee instead of cocktails, a little caffeine before the workday, and the same easy chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet other young professionals from across Asheville.

For November, we're heading to Woodfin Coffee Department, a locally owned neighborhood coffee shop and bistro near Beaver Lake. Opened in 2026 by longtime neighborhood residents Lucy and Jared Crown, this welcoming spot serves coffee, breakfast favorites, locally made pastries, and more. It's a great excuse to explore somewhere new while making a few connections along the way.

Mug Club is intentionally casual. Leave your business cards at home, come as you are, grab a coffee and settle in for a little while. No program. No presentations. No awkward agenda. Just good coffee and good people before the workday gets going.

Coming by yourself? Perfectly normal. Haven't been to an AYPROS event before? Even better. Mug Club is one of the easiest ways to show up, meet a few people and see what AYPROS is all about.

Your first drip coffee is on us. Specialty drinks, additional coffee and other menu items will be available for purchase.

This is a come-and-go event, so arrive when you can and stay as long as your morning allows.
