Hike Montreat! 6 miles with great views.

We will use parts of Rainbow Road Trail, Toll Road trail, and East Ridge trail to access Rattlesnake Summit and Lookout Summit. Both of these Rocky outcroppings have great views of the Swannanoa Valley. This is a moderately easy hike with an 800 foot elevation gain but not steep. The descent, however will be steep and rocky.
If it looks like serious rain I will cancel but we will go if just a chance of showers.
Wear sturdy hiking footgear, bring water and snack and a camera. Dogs are quite welcome but the downhill part may be a challenge to smaller dogs.
