MTS Trail Out-and-Back, 6 mi. 600ft. Elev. Gain

We'll park and meet in front of Haywood Appliance and Fresh Market on Hendersonville Road. From there, we hop onto the Mountains-to-Sea Trail and head north for a simple out-and-back, 3 miles each way. I haven't hiked this particular segment in a few years, so I can't offer any details except that it's a pretty area, and the total elevation gain is relatively mild.

We'll take a 15-minute break at the turnaround point.

Dogs are welcome, but they must be leashed in accordance with Forest Service regulations.

We'll gather at 9:00 AM on the south side of the Fresh Market parking lot in front of the Haywood Appliance store. The address is 1378 Hendersonville Rd.
