BRP Visitor Center to The MST South to the Hendersonville Rd. Exit: Fitness Hike

Details

LOCATION: Blue Ridge Parkway Head Quarters and Visitor Center near mile marker 384. Rear parking lot next to the wooded area.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: Join us for a morning 31/2 hour 10.5 mile out and back fitness hike with an mild elevation of approximately 1100 feet. We will access the MST from the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center at the trailhead entrance and take the connector trail to the MST south and continue to the Hendersonville Road exit and back.

PACE: We will maintain a steady 3 MPH endurance pace. A small portion of this hike is along the Parkway shoulder as we cross over 3 bridges. This trail is popular for all hiking categories from trail runners to casual hikers.

If your hiking interests include outdoor fitness, conditioning, and endurance hikes join us. Message me or post if you have any questions.

DOGS: Friendly dogs welcome and please have leashes handy. There are several small active step-over streams on this trail so water is available.
