Origin of Route: Camino de Asheville is a training route established by the WNC Chapter of the Society of American Pilgrims on the Camino. The Society provides support and education for people who want to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

The original routes were divided into smaller loops by Nic Bronstein, so that people could hike together after work.

Beaver Lake is privately owned and they charge a $100.00 or more fee to get a permit to hike around the lake with your dog. There is a warden who occasionally checks for tags.
No Plus Ones, No Guests: Please ask guests to sign up for the hike themselves.
