Silver Stairs Falls / Jones Gap Loop, approximately 9 miles 1500' elev gain

We'll meet at the Silver Stairs Falls parking lot at 9:15 for a 9:30 sharp start of the hike. The parking lot is at 35.115, -82.644 on rt 276 south of Brevard. There is a $3.00 per person (not per car) parking fee.

From the parking lot we'll start on the Silver Stairs Falls trail down to the Jones Gap trail. We'll follow Jones Gap to the Jones Gap Falls, stop for lunch/snack. Return on Jones Gap to the Coldspring Branch trail where we'll climb back up to 276 and the Raven Cliffs parking lot. Then a short hike on the Tom Miller trail back to the Silver Stairs Falls parking.

The total hike is just over 9 miles, with 1,500' of elevation gain, most of it in the last 2 miles.
