Bracken Preserve - 7.9 Miles, 1260 ft Elevation Gain

This will be a new hike for me and I have not scouted the trail but there are recent AllTrail reviews indicating it is open and in good condition. I feel comfortable navigating using AllTrails but if that concerns you please don't sign up. This will be a cold weather hike so please come prepared. Current weather shows 13F on Monday morning but warming nicely by midday.

From AllTrails description, Beginning with a gradual climb, the Bracken Mountain, Burl Mountain, and Brushy Creek Loop provide beautiful vistas of a meandering river and several tumbling waterfalls.

Please plan to meet at the Ingles in Mills River at 9am by the gas pumps and carpool from there. Parking is limited at the trailhead so please plan to carpool, Please let me know via Meetup Messaging or on my cell at 508-965-2333 if you are running late. I plan to do the hike even if it is cold but will post updates and cancel no later than 7am on Monday if needed.
