East Bent Creek/West Arboretum, 5 miles

Start time has changed to 9:00.

We'll start at Hard Times parking lot and take Hard Times road to a social trail that takes us into Poplar Cove to Rocky Cove road and the entrance to the Arboretum at the gate near the broken dam. Then it's the creek trails beside Bent Creek Gap road to Running Cedar road after which we'll loop back on Carolina Mountain trail and Wolf Branch trail to exit the Arboretum at the gate on Bent Creek Gap road and back to Hard Times Parking lot.

These are easy trails, walks in the woods, very little elevation. Because parking is limited at the trail head, we'll meet behind the Waffle House at the Tanger Outlet Mall on Brevard Road and car pool. Leave at 9:00.
