4 Waterfalls, darn tough hike

Graveyard Fields Upper Falls, Lower Falls, Yellowstone Falls, Skinny Dip Falls.

8 miles, 1,200+ feet of elevation, darn tough trails, pace approx. 2 mph. Must have the strength, stamina, and stability (plus a fondness for alliteration) to complete safely the hike. Hiking poles, hiking boots/shoes, long pants recommended. This is not a dog friendly hike.

Start at Looking Glass Overlook and take social trails up to and along Pisgah Ridge. Then take a social trail down to Graveyard Fields parking lot. Graveyard Fields Trails takes us up to Upper Falls, then back down to Lower Falls. After that, it's MST to the top of Yellow Stone Falls, and MST takes us down to Skinny Dip Falls and back to our cars.

We'll carpool from the French Broad River Overlook. Leave at 8:30 A.M. Also, it's Memorial Day, so the Graveyard Fields area may be crowded. Weather forecasts keep changing.
