Details

- Sign up starts Sunday at 8pm
This is a short hike but has some spectacular views. This is rated as a easy hike in AllTrails. We will likely add an out and back portion to another overlook but will decide that during the hike. Adventurers can add 2.4 miles and go to Mt Pisgah. I will try to accommodate several options within this one hike depending on interest. There are markers along the trail that explore the history of the Bucks Spring Lodge. It is a bit of a drive at about 30 minutes from the Asheville Outlets but a pretty drive up the Parkway.
I enjoy stopping at the Pisgah Inn after the hike and sitting in the rocking chairs behind the hotel. They have a convenience store where you can buy drinks and sandwiches or you can bring your own. We will try to break up into cars that want to do that and want to just go back to the carpool area.
