Bearwallow to Wildcat Rock Overlook

The hike will start at the Bearwallow Trailhead up to Bearwallow Mountain where we'll connect to a new trail that connect to Wildcat Rock Trail. We'll follow Wildcat Rock trail to Wildcat Rock and then turn around and return the way we came.

While I've done Bearwallow and Wildcat Rock trail, I have not done this exact hike and since the connector from Bearwallow to Wildcat is somewhat new, the tools I use plan a hike do not show the connection, so I'm guessing on the length and elevation gain.

For those that want to carpool, meet at the Ingles in Mills River between the Ace hardware and the gas pumps. Meet at 8:45 for a 9:00 sharp departure. It's about a 40 minute drive from here. If meeting at the trailhead, assume a 10:00 sharp start of the hike.
