Jones Gap and Rainbow Falls

OK, 6 miles is a pretty short hike but the climb up to Rainbow Falls makes it more interesting.

We'll start from the Jones Gap State Park entrance and hike about 1.5 miles over to Jones Gap Falls. From Jones Gap Falls we'll start back towards the park entrance and intersect with the Rainbow Falls trail. Here we'll climb close to 1,000' in 1.5 miles to Rainbow Falls then return to the cars.

There is a $6.00 per person admission to Jones Gap State Park unless you have a SC State Park parking pass.

Anyone wanting to car pool can meet at the Cracker Barrell on Upward Rd off of I-26 for a 9:30 departure. Hike starts at 10.
