MST: Greybeard Overlook to Balsam Gap

Start at Greybeard Overlook, hike to Glassmine Falls Overlook, then on to the Balsam Gap parking area (aka Walker Knob) at the Big Butt trailhead, which is our break and our turn around.
Distance is about 7.5 miles, elevation (lowest point to highest point) is about 800 feet. Lots of up and down means total elevation is greater. Higher elevation means cooler weather.
Kudos to the CMC Monday Crew for recently weed-whacking the trail, parts of which were very overgrown when I scouted it last month.
Car pool: Meet at Folk Art Center, lower parking level at 8:30. Car pool is not mandatory. The drive to Greybeard Overlook is about 35 minutes.
