Description
Another higher elevation hike with a fun name and maybe we will see some fall colors. This is on out and back for a total of 6.3 miles and 1700 ft of elevation gain. In the section from Little Butt to Point Misery Gap there are reportedly 365 wooden steps so be prepared for a leg workout. Some sections of the trail may be a bit overgrown so I suggest long pants and it sounds like it will be cold enough that you may want them and a jacket too.

CARPOOL
Meet at the Folk Art Center on the BRP at 8am. If you want to go directly to the trailhead, please let me know and use the directions in AllTrails. We will start at the Walker Knob Overlook at about 8:45 am unless we get stuck behind the gravel trucks again.
WEATHER
The weather currently looks good for Monday but I'll watch the weather and post a cancellation message by 7:00 AM if there is a chance of severe weather or lightning during this time period..
