The Lower Green is a great
whitewater experience for everyone and the perfect place to bring your kids or hone your skills before plunging in the Upper Green. Your guide will point you in the right direction as you paddle through Class I-II rapids in your own inflatable Kayak. Enjoy the scenery, but don’t forget to stop along the way for a swim in a deep, green pool or take a trip off a rope swing.

This will be a lot of fun should not be super busy in the river and maybe we can get together after in saluda for bbq or burgers😊

Recommended for: Groups with a wide range of ages and/or physical abilities; first-timers; families with kids; cautious adventurers; large groups; Scouts; School/Youth groups.

Distance/Duration: 3-mile section, 3-hour trip. Sections may vary depending on trip schedule.

Schedule: The Lower Green is scheduled in the afternoon at 1pm, 1:30pm, 3pm and 3:30pm due to Northbrook Energy’s Scheduled Flow Releases. Don’t see a trip time that suits your group? Contact us, we are happy to help!

Recommended footwear: Footwear that can get wet and won’t come off in the river is required (Sandals with a heel strap, water shoes, booties, old-sneakers, etc). We rent river shoes at our outpost ($7/pair).
