Kayaking Lake Julian

Hey y’all! We had a great time the first trip and we decided to go again. Couple of changes we’re making for this trip. We’re setting the cap at 20 paddlers. There will be a waitlist for this one so be aware of RSVP’s, and if you sign up but can’t make it to the event, please update your RSVP before the day of the event

If someone needs to borrow a kayak and someone has a spare, please communicate that with each other before the day of the event

Let’s meet at Lake Julian Park at 9:30 and plan for a 10:00 launch. We’ll paddle to the southern-most point and explore the smaller lake. On the return trip we’ll paddle over to Wild Wing Cafe and beach our boats there. We’ll take some time to eat and drink before finishing up with a short paddle back to the landing. See y’all there!!

The cost for lake access is $8 per day or $50 per year

Bring your life jacket, sunscreen, water shoes, and water for rehydration

Remember- every boat is required to have a life jacket on board
