The Gorge Zipline Canopy Adventure in Saluda, NC

Let’s go Ziplining!! Join us at The Gorge Zipline in Saluda, NC for a day of fun. Lets meet at the outpost at 10:00 am. We will go out to the lines in groups of 10, with a 30 minute break between groups

YOU MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR YOUR FLIGHT BY SEPTEMBER 15TH TO ATTEND THIS EVENT!

If you are interested in going, you will need to make and pay for your reservation by calling The Gorge Zipline at 1-828-373-2580 and talk to Christopher or Brianna. Tell them you are from the Meetup group with Terri.

All reservations must be paid in full by Monday, September 15. It will be your responsibility to make sure full payment for your reservation has been made.
There is a strict weight limit of 250 lbs.

The Gorge offers two different Zip Tours:

The Quick Flight: This tour lasts about 1 ½ hours and includes 3 Ziplines and a hike back to the Outpost. The cost for this is $73.14 (includes tax). They do provide water for participants of this tour.

TOUR DESCRIPTION – Quick Flight
Our Quick Flight tour is the perfect way to pack some fast and unforgettable fun into your day! This shorter version of our original canopy tour allows you to still experience the thrills of ziplining in a 1-1.5 hr timeframe. The Quick Flight tour includes 3 ziplines and a hike. After the Quick Flight, you will need to hike back to the Outpost. It is not a long hike but parts of it are steep. Afterwards, schedule some time after to hang out by the picnic tables and enjoy a beverage together while you debrief your adventure.

The Original Flight: This tour lasts about 3 ½ - 4 hours and includes 11 Ziplines, 3 Rappels, and 1 Skybridge. The cost for this is $126.14 (includes tax). They will provide water, lemonade & granola bars for participants of this tour.

TOUR DESCRIPTION – Original Flight
This is North Carolina Adventure at its best! Begin your 3 ½ - 4 hour trip perched on the rim of the famous Green River Gorge and plunge into untouched wilderness featuring 11 ziplines, a sky-bridge, and 3 huge rappels. The Gorge offers unique perspectives and dramatic affects.
Comprised of tree-based platforms, The Gorge drops an unprecedented 1,100 vertical feet from start to finish. Experience breathtaking views of 18,000 acres of protected forest and hear the roar of the Green River. GET READY FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE! After the Original Flight, a van will bring you back to the Outpost.

This is a Rain or Shine event. However, if there is lightening, each platform has a shelter. Management will decide whether to continue the rides or not.

Everyone bring a picnic lunch. We’ll regroup and gather at the picnic tables at the Outpost and share our stories about our adventure

All participants will be required to watch a 10 minute video on the basics and another 10 minute “ground school” video.
