# 🌇 Rooftop Meetup — Sunset at Pillar

Let’s do another rooftop event before fall rolls in and the leafers arrive!

For this Rooftop Meetup, we’re heading to Pillar Rooftop Bar (on top of the Hilton Garden Inn) to catch the sunset, enjoy some live music, grab a drink, and spend a few hours hanging out with good people.
Come for the views, stay for the conversation, or just stop by for a bit. No pressure and no complicated itinerary required.

What to expect
· Meet up at Pillar before sunset
· Live music from a band TBD, probably classic rock or island/tiki favorites
· Cocktails, mocktails, or whatever you feel like having
· Catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones
· Enjoy the rooftop views and hopefully spectacular Asheville sunset
· Stay for 20 minutes or hang out all evening; come and go as you please

If the weather has other plans
Pillar has a covered area as well as an indoor tiki bar, where a band will be playing (likely classic rock), so we have somewhere to retreat if the rain rolls in.
Because this is Asheville, we’ll just consider a little weather part of the adventure.

🚗 Parking
· You can park in the parking deck and supposedly have your ticket validated by the front desk.
· There’s also free parking equidistant at the bank across the street if you’d rather go that route.
· And yes, we’ll make sure everyone gets safely across the street. We can probably even find you someone to look both ways for you and hold your hand if needed.

Who should come?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re new to Asheville, have been here forever, or fall somewhere in between, come out and meet some people, enjoy the evening, and take advantage of one of the better views in town.
