TEZUKA'S BARBARA (Japan, 2019) at CinemAsia Film Festival Amsterdam

Dear Asian Cinema Lovers. The CinemAsia Film Festival Amsterdam screens about 30 films. My pick is three films film marathon for the Saturday evening. GUNDALA (Indonesia, 2019) at 19.15. EXIT (South Korea, 2019) at 21.45 and TEZUKA'S BARBARA (Japan, 2019) at 23.50.

I picked these three films for their adventurous story. Gundala tells the hardships of becoming a superhero in the first big budget Indonesian superhero film. Exit shows how ordinary people survive a mysterious disasters overtaking a city and how ordinary people become heroes. Tezuka's Barbara takes you on an erotic perverted journey. It is based on a 1974 adult manga showing the darker side of Japan.
