Dear Asian Cinema Lovers. The CinemAsia Film Festival 2023 screens about 30 films. My pick is three films film marathon for Saturday March 11th. ARNOLD IS A MODEL STUDENT (Thailand, 2022) at 15.00. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WOLF (Myanmar, 2021) at 16.45. And GALANG (Indonesia, 2022) at 19.15. At Rialto de Pijp.

I picked these three films because they show the live of every day young people growing up in South East Asia. Subjects like pressure to to well at school, relationships and youth subculture will we presented in these films.
And I wanted to see Asian films from countries other than South Korea, Japan and China.

These films have English subtitles.
