Lets Hike! - Harpers Ferry - Maryland Heights Loop

Details
Let's go out for a hike!
Harpers Ferry is a tiny park/town nestled at a point where Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia meet. Right outside of town is the Maryland Heights Loop. It's 6.5 miles long and has 1,528 feet of elevation gain according to AllTrails, which categorizes it as "Hard". It also estimates that it will take around 3.5 hours to complete. Bring plenty of water and wear hiking-appropriate shoes!
The trail's main overlook has a fantastic view. It's also very straightforward, so it's almost impossible to get lost...
We will meet outside the Train station in town.

There is some parking near the train station, and also an overflow lot next to the Visitors Center. The first shuttle from the overflow lot is at 9AM and will take you into town.
Please try to arrive on time. We can wait a little, but if you're really late, then we may start without you. Feel free to arrange carpooling in the comments below!
If the weather goes bad at the last moment, stay tuned for a new date.
As usual after our hikes, we can also have lunch together afterwards. Restaurant TBD!
