Details

Monorom Cambodian Restaurant is in the heart of Cambodia Town in Long Beach.

Long Beach's Cambodia Town is the LARGEST population of Cambodians
outside Cambodia, even more populous than the Cambodian population anywhere in Asia except Cambodia!

It has an excellent reputation amongst Cambodians. Their food is tasty, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are modest. The decor is authentic Cambodian.

I have eaten here multiple times and taken friends and family here to eat.

I have tried several restaurants in Cambodia Town and this is one of my 2 favorites. The other is Phnom Penh Noodle Shack which opens and closes very early.

for their menu but their website is not up to date

You will have the choice of dining family style or individually. I am hoping most of us will dine Family Style and share...

Cash only in small bills. No more than one $20/larger bill.
Guesstimate is $30 or $35 but please bring $45 or $50 as it is better to have too much than not enough.

You are not required to spend $50. Yes, somebody asked me once. LOL

No credit cards, no separate checks.

At least 48 hours if you need to cancel.

No +1 unless I know you as we have had major problems. The workaround is a $10/person deposit via zelle or paypal, refundable in full at the restaurant only.

No event fee, no deposit, no annual dues.

You are invited to help pay our meetup's website fees to meetup.com by donating $5 or whatever you feel comfortable with.

There is a powered by Pledge button to click on this meetup's home page.

I have been paying the website fees out of my pocket for 6 years.

If you live far away, I will ask you to confirm. People who live 40, 50 miles from a restaurant tend to be no shows in all too many cases.

You will love the food!
We have also been to authentic Burmese and Laotian restaurants and will go again.

This lunch is listed with LA Foodies and sister group LA Asian foodies.

The strip mall has a free parking lot in front plus there is free street parking on Anaheim Street and the side street on the corner.

Carpooling is encouraged.

Meet your foodie meetup friends and make new foodie friends. Discuss
art, film, music, literature, sports, just about anything except politics.

I have always enjoyed the food at Monorom when dining with family, friends, and meetup groups.

Please RSVP and join us!
