We will be dining family-style.
OUTDOORS with limited seating AND INDOORS. please bring a jacket in case we dine outdoors.
No food restrictions. We all pay the same no matter how much you eat. If you are a small or picky eater, this outing may not be for you.

LAN makes traditional hand-pulled noodles in an open kitchen so you can see the chefs doing their thing.
9 different shapes of noodles:
thick round, thin round, thinnest round, thick round, wide flat, thinner flat, chives leaves flat, triangle shaped noodles and 1 more !!!!!
Each bowl comes with slices of beef, daikon radish, chile oil,, scallions, and cilantro.
The broth is similar to Pho. Slow simmered with beef & chicken bones, 28 herba & spices !!!!!!
In the city of Lanzho, with 3 millon people, this noodle soup is a daily life staple, sold on every street corner.
Custom made-to-order for each customer.
If more than 1 thickness is custom made for an individual, like if they hand-pull 2 or 3 thicknesses for one person, Lanzho residents will not eat it !!!

The menu looks fantastic.
Appetizers include
smashed cucumbers,
celery peanut salad,
spicy fried tofu,
kelp salad, and
chicken gizzards.
Special dishes include
Big platter chicken from northwest China and
sweet chili chicken.
Noodle soups, which are their speciality, INCLUDE:
the LAN SIGNATURE DISH,
braised beef,
spicy beef, and
Lanzho street noodles with no meat but with sesame and peanut butter soup base.
CHINESE BURGERS, in existance centuries before McDonalds
include either pork, lamb, and beef.
Roujiamo is a meat sandwiched in bread. It's a street food. A baijimo is a type of flatbread.
The meat is minced and chopped and stuffed into a baijimo.
Roujiamo bread dates back to the Qin Dynasty 221-206 BC and the meat to the Zhou Dynasty 1045-256 BC.

The estimated cost is $30 to $40 plus tax and the 20% tip we always leave. Please bring $50 cash in small bills just to be on the safe side. It's better to have too much than too little. Beverages will be extra.
LA Asian Foodies will be dining family style. We will each have our own individual serving utensils that they do not eat with. Everyone will have their individual utensils they eat with plus their own plates and bowls.
