Welcome to our special Meetup in Rotterdam!

After more than 70 guests joined our latest Meetup & Drinking event, we’re bringing everyone together again for another evening of good conversations and new friendships—this time with a Korean twist!

Hi everyone! I’m Tai, a Japanese exchange student at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I created this group to build a welcoming, fun community for anyone in and around Rotterdam who loves Asian culture, food, language, and making international friends.
For this gathering, we’re celebrating Korean Oktoberfest at a Korean restaurant, Pocha Rotterdam. Expect the same friendly spirit as our regular meetups, with Korean beer and food to enjoy along the way. You don’t need to know anything about Korean culture or Oktoberfest to join!

【Who Is This Event For?】

• Everyone is welcome! You do NOT need to be Asian to join.
• Locals, expats, students, and travelers living in or visiting Rotterdam.
• Anyone who loves Asian food, travel, music, anime, or culture.
• People interested in language exchange and meeting people from different backgrounds.
• Anyone looking to expand their social circle and make new friends in NL.

【What to Expect & Highlights】

• Friendly Socializing: Relaxed conversations and a welcoming atmosphere to meet potential travel buddies, language partners, or new friends. Come alone or bring a friend—our team will help you connect with other guests!
• A Smaller Gathering, More Time to Connect: With up to 30 guests, this evening will be more intimate than our larger meetups, giving you time to get to know the people around you. Our hosts will introduce guests to one another and help get conversations started, so you don’t have to walk into a room and figure it all out on your own.
• Korean Oktoberfest: Enjoy a Korean twist on the famous beer celebration, with beers such as Cass, Krush, and Terra. Whether you’re curious about Korean culture or simply coming to make friends, you’re welcome.
• Special Food for This Event: A Korean fried chicken and side dish combo will be available to order separately. Choose from Sweet Chili, Jalapeño Mayo, or Soy Garlic Chili chicken, paired with a Korean side. Food is optional—feel free to join us just for a drink and a chat!

【Event Rules & Drink Policy】

• Free admission! There is no separate participation fee.
• Your first drink costs €5, payable at the venue.
• Additional food and drinks can be ordered and paid for separately.
• This is an 18+ event. Please bring a valid ID.
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
