Board Games at Brookfield - Newcomers Welcome!

Event Description

It's been a long while since we did this! Let's gather for a fun and communal board games event with a nice view of the Hudson. Newcomers welcome! Games available: Codenames, Steam Up, Monopoly: Mandalorian Edition, Guesstures (think Charades 2.0!), Exploding Kittens, and more! Please feel free to bring any games you’d like to play as well! If you're not sure how to play a game, don't worry as we'll teach them!

Hey there, and welcome to the Asian Support Network! 🤗 If it's your first time here, welcome! Ever notice how hard it is to make friends and meet like-minded people as an adult? 🤔 It's our mission to change that through community building events like this one! 🏘

ASN started as an answer to social isolation and the lack of belongingness and community during the pandemic in August 2020. Since then, we've built a very small tight-knit community where everyone gets to know your name. 🥰 While the group is small, it's also very diverse. Some of us connect on music. 🎶 Others on Asian dramas. 🎎 Some of us enjoy sports. 🎾 Some love discussing motivation and self improvement. 🧘 And others just enjoy a good book 📖 in the presence of quiet, but warm company. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Everyone has unique talents and interests to contribute to the community! 🎁

Cliques are a good thing here! We want everyone to join and experience the closeness of "finding their people," but we never want that to become exclusive, uninviting, or hostile to newcomers, and we accomplish that by making ASN a neutral safe space to be yourself, exchange ideas, and meet new friends! 🤝 Ask us about it! 😊
