Association of Americans Resident Overseas (Madrid) Saturday Lunch

American expats and potential future American expats in Madrid: please join us for a fourth Madrid lunch with AARO, a non-profit, non-partisan association that has championed the interests of Americans abroad since 1973. The lunch will be casual, a chance to meet other Americans living in Spain and to chat informally about issues affecting U.S. expats in Europe: visas, taxation, voting, dining, tourism, whatever comes to mind.

You don't have to be an AARO member to sign up, but are certainly encouraged to join. Ten thousand more Americans moved to Spain between 2022 and 2024 alone. We share common concerns about taxation, banking, voting, Social Security and other matters. AARO is the best-established, non-partisan, Europe-based organization in our corner. We don't have to stick together, but will be better off if we do!

The venue: the Ibiza branch of Txirmiri, a Spanish/Basque restaurant a few blocks east of Retiro Park and the Ibiza station on the 9 metro line. The menu, in English: https://txirimiri.es/restaurant-menu/ . Participants will be responsible for paying for their own food and drinks.
