Odd Boy Out, Autobiography of Gyles Brandreth
Details
Come and join us at the St James Tavern in Winchester to discuss Gyles Brandreth’s autobiography. A table is booked at the pub in my name (Karen Brooking) so ask for that if you are a new member and don’t recognise us or if you get there before me. Grab a drink from the bar and come and join us.
If you don’t manage to finish reading the book before then, don’t worry. Please still come along and join in the chat.
As well as discussing Giles’ offering on the 18th, we will chose a book for our February meeting (15 February). We have decided that we will have a theme for some months, but now and again we will have a theme free choice. February will be theme free, so come along in January with an idea or two so we have a diverse variety of options to chose from. Fresh ideas are always very welcome.
Meetings will continue to be on the third Thursday of each month at the St James Tavern. Nearest parking is the tower street carpark (there is now a fee for evening parking), there is some free street parking in side streets near the pub.
