This is a cozy, creative space where art, dreams, and connection come alive.
We host small, inspiring events designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and calm - from crafty watercolour workshops (Pocket Paintings), life drawing sessions, exploring Tarot, to dreamwork discussions (Lucid Lounge: Dreamwork Café), and more.
Whether you’re here to pick up a paintbrush for the first time, explore the wonders of your dreams, or simply enjoy great company, Asteria Creative Sessions in the cozy surroundings of Board & Brewed is a place to relax, create, and connect.

Pocket Paintings: Mini Art, Big Vibes
Board and Brewed, 75 York Rd, Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, A96 FR99,, Dublin, IEPocket Paintings is a beginner friendly watercolour and crafts workshop where you will create multiple tiny masterpieces in the cozy surroundings of Board And Brewed.
We will supply all the painting and craft materials you need. At the end, you’ll turn your artworks into a small keepsake: bookmarks, framed mini paintings (yes, paper frames provided), and fun stickers! Perfect to keep or gift.
No experience? No problem! This is all about relaxing, experimenting, meeting new people, and enjoying the process. Your host is experienced with painting and drawing, so can guide you if needed. We also provide many adorable little nature stencils and drawing prompts if desired.

To secure your spot, a €5 deposit is required.
👉 After you RSVP here on Meetup, you’ll receive a message from me with a link to pay your €5 deposit through Ko-fi.
On the day of the event, you’ll just pay the remaining €10 at the door (total €15).
✨ Coming with friends? Only one deposit is needed to hold your group’s place. The person who paid the deposit will pay €10 at the door, and the rest of the group can pay €15 each when they arrive.

💸 €15 per sessionJoin us for a cozy, beginner-friendly watercolour illustration class where you’ll create two beautiful mini paintings in a relaxing, supportive environment.
In this 2-hour session, we’ll:
• Create two quick practice paintings to warm up and learn techniques
• Finish with a more detailed final illustration
• Use pencil sketching, watercolour techniques, and fine liner inking once dryI’ll guide you through:
• Understanding puddle strength and water-to-paint ratios
• Blending and layering techniques
• Using linework to elevate your final pieceTo make it accessible for all skill levels, I’ll provide:
• Outlined reference sheets to trace using carbon paper
• Or step-by-step “how to draw” guides if you’d prefer to freehandAll materials are included — just bring yourself and a creative spirit!
