Aston Film & Photo Community is a welcoming space for photographers in Annapolis, Maryland who want to grow, shoot, and build real creative skills—whether you’re using a DSLR, mirrorless, smartphone, or a classic film camera. From digital basics to black-and-white film, developing, scanning, and printing, this community brings all levels together.
Led by Kenneth Aston, a veteran-trained photographer with 40+ years of experience in film and digital workflows, this group focuses on practical skills, strong storytelling, and a supportive environment. Expect photo walks, hands-on workshops, film sessions, editing meetups, and conversations that spark creativity.
The vibe is relaxed and encouraging—no competition, no pressure. Just people who love photography and want to keep learning. As the community grows, it will also help support the long-term vision of building an Annapolis community darkroom for film shooters and creatives.
