How a Typical Astrodrama Session Works

1. A protagonist (the person whose chart is being explored) or the group chooses a focus (e.g., a specific transit, a relationship dynamic, or the whole natal chart).
2. Participants are assigned roles- e.g., one person is Mars in Scorpio in the 7th house, another is the Moon in Cancer, etc.
3. They improvise interactions - Planets “talk” to each other, move around a space (sometimes laid out like a horoscope wheel), express emotions, and create scenes.
4. The protagonist watches, directs, or joins in- often gaining powerful insights into their inner dynamics as they see their chart “performed.”
5. Debrief - Everyone shares what they felt in their role, revealing hidden patterns or unconscious material.
