Join us for our annual December Holiday Astrology Meetup Party! We’ll have goodies and much information to share and talk about. Here is just the “tip of the iceberg” for what’s in store.

Spencer has a special presentation on Reincarnation and astrology. Can we “prove it?”

We’ll look at the Capricorn ingress chart in a bi-wheel with the USA chart to see what that might portend for America in 2018. Saturn will transit USA Eris three times in 1st house while Neptune will transit USA Sedna three times in 3rd house.

We’ll look at Jupiter’s return to Scorpio and Saturn’s return to Capricorn.

We will look at other astronomical/astrological events for 2018 including 2 full SuperMoon’s in January, the second being a total Lunar eclipse and a “Blue Moon.” March 2018 will also be a “once in a Blue Moon” month.

All 8 planets will go retrograde in 2018, fortunately not all at the same time.

Most of January and all of February; a period of nine consecutive weeks, will have no retrograde planets.

Mars will conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio on the south Heliocentric node of Mars, the accursed degree of the accursed sign.

Numerologically, 2018 is an 11 year; (2+0+1+8=11) 11 = Justice/Strength

There will be five eclipses in 2018; two total Lunar eclipses and three partial Solar eclipses.

By the time of this Meetup, December 10, two planets, Mercury and Uranus will be retrograde and there will be no planets in air signs. The chart pattern will be a locomotive with the Moon in Virgo as the engine and Uranus in Aries the caboose, basically the same as in November. There will be six planets in mutable signs and five in fire signs giving this a “Sagittarian” signature.

The dominant aspect pattern, utilizing the 10 planets, will be a Huber Learning Triangle consisting of the Moon in Virgo inconjunct Rx Uranus in Aries trining Saturn, Mercury and the Sun in Sagittarius with those three then squaring the Moon in Virgo. This is a strong positive Learning Triangle. These factors together should make for an opportune time of sharing and learning during our Meetup.

Today’s lesson involves the Huber Learning Triangle. Bruno and Louise Huber were Swiss astrologers. They founded the Huber School of Astrology in 1962, specializing in Psychological Astrology. The Huber’s also established the color format for aspects, Red for “hard” aspects, square and oppositions; blue for “easy,” trines and sextiles; and green for inconjunct. A Learning Triangle consists of three or more points with a red, a green and a blue aspect. The aspects are read in a clockwise direction starting with the “red” aspect. The Huber’s considered that a “good” energy flow would be red, green, blue; that is, action, change, rest. If the aspect sequence is red, blue, green, the energy is more challenging as it goes action, rest, change and then begins again with action. This does not allow for a “rest” or assimilation period between the change and next action.

Spencer and I have talked about this and because of the ongoing expense of the fees for the meetup site and costs of copies and such, we are going to add a container for “love donations” to help defray some of the costs. This is entirely voluntary. There is no fee or charge for attending this meetup; this is just to help defray some of the costs.

This meetup will be at our usual location, UnUrban Café, 3301 Pico Blvd. Great little coffee shop with delicious food and excellent drink selections. Do support the UnUrban if you can by buying a drink and/or something to eat.

Because of the remodel at the UnUrban, we need to move our post-meeting discussions and class from the back room to the main/front area by 3pm so others can have the opportunity to use the backroom and stage.
