Monthly Santa Monica Astrology Meetup
Details
02/08/26 – 12:00 pm – Santa Monica Astrology Zoom Meetup
The chart above is for the March 3, 2026, Total Lunar Eclipse, which, if the weather cooperates, will be visible in LA and most of the US. Exactness will be just before 3:58 am. Totality should last for a few minutes, beginning a few minutes before to a few minutes after. You may want to check an hour or so before, as the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, and for about an hour after, as the Moon moves out of the shadow.
Yes, we know it is Super Bowl Sunday, but for the fans, don’t worry, we will be done well before the game starts. Should you need to leave early, please feel free to do so.
Join us as we continue to explore the major astronomical phenomenon coming in 2026. For starters, we will look at eclipses, what they are, and how they might affect us and our relationships as we focus on the first two for 2026. First up will be the Solar Eclipse on February 17, 2026, which also marks Chinese New Year, Fat Tuesday, and Ramadan. We will look at where on the Earth it will be visible and what eclipse family it belongs to. For those who will be 18, 36, 54, 72, or 90 after this date, this eclipse may be part of your “Prenatal” eclipse family. We will discuss how to determine if it is and what that may signify. Then we will examine the total Lunar Eclipse coming on March 3, 2026, and its significance. We will also look at the coming Saturn conjunct Neptune, Mercury retrograde, and Jupiter finally stationing direct.
We are always open to discussing whatever recent or coming event, or whatever else is of interest to you.
