Come on a unique journey across the cosmos. We’ll begin at the beginning almost 14 billion years ago when the Universe was smaller than an atom and continue on to the present, all the while exploring its many extraordinary features. We will then look towards the future and speculate where we are all heading.
This voyage is perfect for anyone who has ever wondered what the universe actually is, where it came from, and where it is headed. Tonight we will begin among the stars and continue on towards the farthest reaches of the observable universe. Prior knowledge or any technical expertise in math or science is not required. Just bring your questions and sense of wonder.
The format of this voyage will consist mainly of a PowerPoint presentation hopefully interrupted by a host of questions from the participants.
