Sky Viewing and Planetarium Show @ Rock Creek Visitor Center

National Capital Astronomers has scheduled an event for at Rock Creek Park nature center, it's one hour planetarium program (8-9pm) followed by two hours of public star party (9-11pm).

Parking is also available at Picnic Grove #13, which is adjacent to the viewing area.

Sky viewing from the field should be able to start with some bright stars and tracing a few constellations.
