We are going back to Miramar Air show again in San Diego. This air show is free and has a lot of subjects to shoot. You will see some of the best military pilots performing their aerial skillset. This is one event I go to every year to shoot flying jet and everything else in between. There are seats at the Grand stand that you can purchase ticket for a small fee to sit and watch the air show. But, since we don't like to be limited on movement, we usually go to the far left end of the runway e and take photos of the Jets there.

Parking location:
MCSA military base. Free parking. You will be directed to where to park.
Preparation:
Since the show is on the military base. Please be sure you follow their guideline before going there. No ice chest, clear storage bag, no pets. Must have ID.(Driver license). Bring a beach chair or purchase one from vendors over there during the show. A hat and sun glasses is a must to get some shades and protect your eyes. Sun tan lotion is a must. It gets really hot sitting on the runway waiting for planes to come in. Temperature could be in the high 90s during September. You can purchase food and cold drinks from food vendors there. Warning: You could be standing for hours to take photos of the planes flying.

Equipment:
I highly recommend a longer focal length lens with 100-400mm, 150-600mm. A Polarizer helps cut down on glare of plane surface.
Note: There is no host due to large crowd of spectators. However, we will be at the far left side of the runway. But, I recommend going there early to scout the location. Good spot gets taken very fast. I will see you all there. You can also purchase ticket to sit on the grand stand if you prefer. But, you will be limited on your movement.
