🚴🏽🚴🏼‍♀️🚴‍♂️ATAC Longest Day Ride

🚴🏽🚴🏼‍♀️🚴‍♂️ ATAC longest day ride is an yearly event that takes place on the day(weekend) when it’s the longest duration of light!

💡 So the idea is we ride from sunrise until sunset and go where the wind blows

Everyone can join no matter the distance, you can drop at every train station to get back home.

In the week/days before we decide where we ride to considering the wind/weather you don’t want to ride all day with headwind. Last couple of event we went to:
🚴🏽2022 Groningen -/+285km
🚴🏼‍♀️2023 Germany -/+245km
🚴‍♂️2024 Delfzijl -/+355km

Example of last event:
We starterd at 06:00 at Dam square and cycled along the coastline of Flevoland to Urk, there we had 1/1,5hr breakfast. Cycled further to Harlingen for a 1hr Fish and Chips break and in Wierum for icecream 15min, after taking a wrong turn we got lost on some military base with gravel roads and obstacles-course finally made it out and went to the border town of Delfzijl, took the last train home 😊

One of the participants never drove more than 100k before and ended up riding 325km! That’s more or les how it went and a adventure of a life time that you never forget

- nutrition: bars gels snacks drinks etc
- phone, cash, bankcard, ov-card
- spare innertube(s) and basic tools (knowhow to change a tyre)
