This event is organized by ATAC partner Topswim. Clubmembers recieve a 40€ discount and only pay 145€ per course.
Basic Open Water Course 2026
And advanced, HARDER, BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER Series.
A total of 6 one-hour training sessions, each with a different theme.
**Beginner open water swimmers learn the ins and outs of outdoor swimming, such as navigation, water safety, and equipment handling. Advanced swimmers can learn to swim more efficiently, get more out of their strokes, and improve their fitness. The course is ideal for recreational outdoor swimmers, or participants in a city swim or triathlon. We also use video to explore your potential improvements. Course fee
€145& You can register directly by emailing michiel@topswim.nl. There is a maximum number of participants, so be on time! To participate, you must be able to swim at least 150 meters of front crawl in a pool and have a wetsuit and a buoy.
HBSF series
Have you already taken the course, or are you an advanced open water swimmer? Then you can also participate in the HBFS (Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger) series.
In these training sessions, we delve deeper into open water techniques, endurance, and race tactics. Expect less theory and more swimming! This series runs from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, following the Basic Course hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays, at the same location.
